On October 27, 2005 the New Jersey State Library partnered with the Verizon Telecom Pioneers and the Verizon Foundation to sponsor the Walk for Literacy.  Librarians and Verizon Telecom Pioneers throughout the state participated in the walk. All proceeds from this event were used to purchase this selection of adult basic literacy and ESL materials.  We are very proud to add these helpful materials to the Woodbridge Library Collection for your use.



From Agatha Christie to Ellery Queen and beyond, many authors have taken a stab (or a shot!) at plotting murders in elegant and aristocratic surroundings.  In our list, though the notations may often sound a bit similar, be assured every book has its own delicious twist on situations and characters.  Some of the settings are traditional, some spooky, some even spoofy, and not all take place in the 1920s or 30s, or even in England, but all are
