What Does
Telecirc Do?
- Renews your library books.
- Lists titles of books checked out and
when they are due.
- States your current library fines.
- Lists titles of any books being held for
you.
Before Calling Telecirc
- Have your library card available.
The bar code number has 14 digits and can be found on the back of
the card. You only have to enter the numbers after the zeros,
followed by the pound key.
- Your PIN is usually the last 4 digits of
your phone number. Enter the 4 numbers, followed by the pound key.
- You must have a touchtone phone.
- Your home phone number must be on file at
the Library. Verify this the next time you visit.
Renewing Library Materials
- Library books can be renewed one time
only if they have not been requested (placed on hold) by another
person.
- Video cassettes cannot be renewed.
- You can renew overdue materials.
The fine will be posted to your Library record.
- Write down the "new" due date
underneath the old one as a reminder of when the materials are due
back.

Hold
Notification System
- Telecirc will call you at home when a
book you placed on "hold" has arrived.
- Telecirc will talk to you or your
answering machine.
- If Telecirc cannot reach you, or you do
not have an answering machine, a "hold" notification
notice will be mailed to you.
- Telecirc's calling schedule is Monday -
Friday 9:00 am - 8:00 pm.
- Telecirc must have your correct home
phone number.
When Telecirc calls you...
- Follow the spoken directions and please
do not hang up until the message is complete.
- Telecirc will announce where the book(s)
is being held and until what date.
- Telecirc Protects your privacy. It
will not announce the names of the books being held for you.
- Call 732-750-4390 for title information.
Telecirc uses a synthesized
computer voice. Words and names may be mispronounced.
