Thanksgiving Greetings from Woodbridge

Happy Thanksgiving!!! It’s our hope that everyone is “Home-For-The-Holiday’s” and able to share the bounty of the season with family and friends. Residents without the where-with-all to have a Thanksgiving dinner are invited to attend the Annual Thanksgiving Day Friendship Luncheon (Thurs., Nov. 23, 2017) graciously served by the Interfaith Clergy Council and St. Andrew Roman Catholic Church. The Thanksgiving Friendship Luncheon is served from 1:00 – 3:00 PM at St. Andrews Church Parish Hall, North Madison Ave., Avenel. All are welcome to share the Thanksgiving Luncheon with all the trimmings and a super portion of FRIENDSHIP. There is NO CHARGE... but please call Carol Hila at 732-241-8436 to reserve a seat.

A Holiday Adventure : “This Ain’t No Oz” on Stage Sat., Nov. 25

Kick-off the Holiday’s with the FREE performance of A Holiday Adventure: “This Ain’t No Oz”... a musical interactive stage production for children and families produced by Jane McLaughlin and the European School of Dance with narration by Mayor John E. McCormac. A Holiday Adventure takes the stage at the Theatre at Woodbridge Middle School (525 Barron Ave.) on Sat., Nov. 25. Doors Open at 2:00 PM. Show begins at 2:30 PM.

Woodbridge Veterans Alliance Hosts Outreach and Benefit Forum

The Woodbridge Veterans Alliance will host a “VETERANS OUTREACH FORUM” on Sat., Nov. 18 at the Woodbridge Community Center (600 Main Street) from 9:00 AM – Noon. Veterans and Spouses, Military Service Members, National Guard members and Reservists are encouraged to attend to learn about Veterans services and benefits. The Admission is FREE. The Information is Priceless!!!

The E-News encourages residents, parents, students and visitors to support the various school-related activities and events - without community sponsorship, many of the student-oriented events and activities would not be able to take place.
