AVENEL PERFORMING ARTS CENTER

The Avenel Performing Arts Center (APAC) - the region’s newest performing arts center designed for theatre, stage productions and special performances – is welcoming theatre-goers with the very best entertainment venue in Central Jersey. The APAC is a multi-disciplinary performing arts center located in Avenel (Woodbridge Township). Managed by the Woodbridge Arts Alliance (WAA), the APAC promises to energize Avenel and surrounding communities by programming exceptional, professional theatre, music, comedy, dance and more. The APAC features seating for 200 patrons, a separate performance room and pre-function lobby area that opens to exterior space for larger gatherings and events. APAC also features Curtains Restaurant – a stand-alone dining destination available for catered pre-performance and special events.

Central Jersey Charity BeerFest “On Tap” Saturday

Taste New Jersey’s finest local handcrafted beers at the 13^th Annual Central Jersey Charity BeerFest on Saturday (Sept. 21) from 1:00 to 5:00 PM at Parker Press Park in downtown Woodbridge. Sponsored by the J.J. Bitting Brewing Company of Woodbridge, the Central Jersey BeerFest is bigger and better than ever - with more New Jersey breweries offering specialty brews, live music and entertainment, food vendors, and a whole lot more. Admission for the festival is $30.00 for adult “beer samplers” and $15 for “non-beer samplers.” Children under 12 are free. Admission includes a two ounce official BeerFest sampler glass and free parking. Contact J.J. National Public Lands Day is Sept. 28… Volunteer to Clean-Up Woodbridge

Join the Woodbridge Green Team as we celebrate National Public Lands Day on Sat., Sept. 28. National Public Lands Day is the nation's largest hands-on volunteer effort geared to clean-up and restore the natural beauty of public lands, parks, playgrounds and recreational areas. Want to Help!!! We’re looking for hands-on volunteers to clean-up our parks, school grounds, playgrounds and public areas. Tour de’ Woodbridge Rides on Sept. 29

CALLING ALL BICYCLISTS... The 12^th Annual Tour de’ Woodbridge bike tour rolls through town on Sun., Sept. 29. The recreational tour of Woodbridge - 30 or 15 mile tour - starts and finishes at The Woodbridge Community Center (WCC), 600 Main Street. Registration: $25.00 (Advance). $30.00 (Tour Day). It’s All Happening at The Club

The Club at Woodbridge is now part of the Woodbridge Township Recreation Family – and we’re offering an incredible menu of health, wellness, fitness and entertainment programs, events and happenings to members and guests!!! The Club is the perfect complement to the Woodbridge Community Center (WCC) right across Main Street. Both facilities have a pool, running track, cardio rooms, weight rooms, concession areas and child care functions. Both run summer camps for kids and personal training and other amenities.
